快轮到时,听到有人在喊“first-time students come out”,于是出列重新排队。

午饭:lasagna(意大利千层面,就是番茄酱的味),鸡翅(太咸),水果色拉(还算正常)。

"I LOVE LONDON"

[10:30] Guided tour of London by coach. The guide is a nice guy with strong sense of pride as typical Britons.

"Now you are in the centre of London. And London is the centre of UK, and the centre of the world, and the centre of the universe!" It seems that every Briton was born with the deepest emotion of pride.

They are also proud of their left traffic. "The right side is not the right side". Though many countries are mislead by France to take right traffic.

The relationship between UK and France is extremely opposite, and they never deny it. It is spoken openly that British dislike French. If French do this, British will do the opposite way, and vice versa. Actually they dislike each other.

We passed by many famous persons' sculpture, like Winston Churchill, Duke of Wellington, Kings & Queens, ect. And Westminster Abbey, the House of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Royal Courts of Justice, the National Gallery, St. Paul Cathedral, Alfred Hitchcock's "the 39 steps"...

On the Waterloo Bridge, you can see Big Ben through London Eye, that is a special angle.

On the London Bridge, you can see London Tower and Tower Bridge. Attention that London Bridge is not Tower Bridge. Actually Old London Bridge fell down in 1014, as the song sings "London Bridge is falling down". The new London Bridge is built further from the Tower Bridge than the old one.

There are two cities in Greater London, and London Bridge is the seperate line, one side is the City of Westminster, the political centre, the other side is the City of London, the financial centre. And "the City" usually refers to the City of London.
